International (F-1) Tuition Fees & Application Deadlines
91³Ô¹Ï accepts international student applications for Fall and Spring semesters, as well as Summer. 91³Ô¹Ï divides its academic year into two semesters (Fall and Spring). In addition, we provide summer and winter sessions to our students.

Estimated Tuition and Fees
Los Angeles City College (91³Ô¹Ï) International requires verification of funds for an academic year in the amount of $23,500 USD. This total includes tuition, mandatory fees, and estimated living expenses. An academic year is nine (9) months.
There are two mandatory semesters in an academic year: fall and spring. International students are required to enroll in a minimum of 12 units every fall and spring semester. Students are charged tuition per unit. There are also two five-week summer sessions and one five-week winter session that you may attend (optional). Please note that if you result in enrolling in more than 12 units and/or attend summer or winter sessions, there will be additional costs.
Please note that the District's Board of Trustees adopted the non-resident tuition of $377 per unit, effective 2025-2026 year. Combined with the enrollment fee of $46 per unit, non-resident students including the F-1 visa international students will be charged $423 per unit.
Per 91³Ô¹Ï Board Rule 2309.30, international students attending a college in the Los Angeles Community College District under an F-1 visa shall be charged a medical insurance fee equal to the cost of medical insurance purchased by the district on the student’s behalf. The current rates are as follows:
- Fall/Winter (08/15/23) to 01/31/24): $780
- Spring/Summer (02/01/24 to 08/14/24): $780
